Meanwhile, the EU and the United States intensified their sanctions on Russia on Friday over its alleged destabilizing role in the Ukraine crisis despite Moscow's repeated denial.
The EU agreed to delay the implementation of the Association Agreement with Ukraine till Dec. 31, 2015, according to a joint statement issued after the trilateral ministerial meeting between the EU, Ukraine and Russia.
